At CASI Ontario we recognize the important role you play in having successful courses run throughout Ontario – to ensure qualified staff is available to you. With that in mind, we try to make the process of scheduling a course as easy as possible!
CASI Ontario arranges and handles the Level One Instructor course and Park Instructor 1 course in Ontario. If you are interested in hosting a course at your location, please email us. See following information for course requirements and information needed or to obtain a Course Request Form.
If you have other questions or concerns regarding having a CASI Level 1 course at your location, please contact the Ontario Regional Coordinator, Doug Mooder.
If you are interested in hosting a Level 2 or higher course, please contact National Office.

Course Request Form
We currently send out Course Request Forms to participating locations (within the last 3 years) at the end of the season – end of March/beginning of April. We then send again to those we haven’t heard from in late August. If you didn’t receive, simply email us and ask for one.
We email the Course Request Form as a MS Word file. This way you can simply open file and input information and then return form by email. If you need the form faxed to you, just ask and provide us with your fax number.
Information required on form:

- Resort Address – physical address to courier course materials
- Telephone and Fax Numbers

We go online with our season’s schedule September 15. Please return Course Request Form as soon as possible. To get in brochure and on starting schedule, we need requests in by the beginning of September. We try to accommodate all preferred course dates, and will let you know if your backup dates are selected.
Once the schedule is online, you can check it out to ensure we have correctly posted your dates for the upcoming season, or to see updates on course status. For schedule, select “register” and simply select course and province.
Email us if at any time throughout the year you would like to add a course.
Before the Course
Once a course is scheduled and posted online, we wait for the registrations to come in. If you have people that you specifically want/need on course, please have them register as soon as possible, as registrations are processed on a first-come first-served basis.
Courses need a minimum of 4 participants to proceed. There is also a maximum of 7 participants per evaluator. As long as registrations come in and we have evaluators available, we will continue accepting registrations – up to registration deadline. For more information on registration deadlines see information on this site.
If, as we approach deadline, we don’t have enough registrations, CASI Ontario will contact you to let you know. If by mutual agreement there is not enough interest to run course, we will cancel and notify registrants. If at all possible we will work with you to set up another course later in the season.
Before the course start date, we will courier the course materials to your location. As well, a couple of days prior we will email a course list so you have a list of participants for lift ticket information.
